What I thought

A triple blonde brewed by Trappist monks in Belgium, who have been brewing since 1595. It's Rochefort's first new beer since 1955.

Golden and complex, with spice and citrus notes... and careful, you won't feel the 8.1%.

Tip: don't serve it ice cold. It's best in a chalice, between 43 and 48 °F.

What I'd pair it with

Strong cheeses, charcuterie, roast duck and mushrooms with truffle.
