What I thought

A German wheat classic from the brewery considered the oldest in the world. Brewing since 1040.

Hazy, creamy, with banana and clove notes. The banana and clove come from the yeast during fermentation: there's no fruit in it.

Tip: when there's a little left in the bottle, swirl it and pour it in. That's where the yeast aroma is.

What I'd pair it with

Chicken, fish, German sausages and anything with lemon.
